English Club organised a discussion about Pleural Drainage

Hi everybody!
Last month, CVTS English Club organised a discussion about Pleural Drainage and the importance of Pulmonary rehabilitation with a patient after inserting a chest tube.
This month, we will discuss the following topic: Deep vein thrombosis ( DVT). A dangerous disease, that can cause pulmonary thrombosis and in some cases even death.
Our topic has 4 discussions on 4 days of this month:
- Talk about anatomy and some terminology of DVT ( 28/3/2015)
- A case of a patient at the Cardiovascular thoracic surgery unit, the symptoms and high risk of DVT
- Treatment of DVT
- Prevention of DVT
